HOME of the Potomac Dogwoods

The Potomac Dogwoods chapter of the Good Sam Club of Virginia was chartered in September 1975, one of the oldest chapters in Virginia. The objective of the chapter is to enjoy the companionship of fellow members at our monthly campouts while promoting the RV lifestyle in the spirit of Good Sam.

The chapter holds monthly gatherings. During camping season (March -November) we hold weekend outings at a campground and a dinner at a member's home or restaurant during the winter months. Click here to see our calendar --->

The Potomac Dogwoods invite you and your family to join us for a weekend of fun and fellowship.

Our chapter membership is currently about 25 member families; some single, mostly married couples. The majority of our membership lives in the Northern Virginia area. Many of us are still working, while others are retired. It's a "toss up" who will be last to arrive on a Friday evening.

We camp in all types of rigs (RV's), from large to small, from new to old, the size, shape and type matters not to us, the only thing that matters is that you come and enjoy yourself with our group.
